one thing to rember when you get your new engine is to take the sump
off and clean the sump and oil pickup
been caught out with my xr2 when i put a new engine in and loss all
oil pressure ?

well after 6 weeks its alive again got the 1.6 efi in and all wired
up starts on the button
now just got to put all the brakes back together and put the inside
back in
has anyone one a photo of how the roll bar goes in as i want to make
one up

i am so glad i have done this struts were put in wrong steering rack
was not done up ??
i had someone to sandblast the frame but they cant do it for a week
so sanding it down myself and painting ?

£170.10 i thought to myself thats a bit high left it for the mo and

just scrap a mk2 fiesta got all locks laches of it

well i have now started to strip down my quantum to repaire ?
1/ car has been sat outside with no boot or roof to dry out
2/ got to strip of all door lock and hinges as all leak water in
including all the wiper part and bits and bobs under bonnet
3/ new engine i have gone for the 1.6 efi cvh ( was
have a look at Jim Hearne site http://www.quantums.info/
it should give you a very good understanding on what you want to do
also he is very helpful
