There's nothing special about that diode, it only stops the current
flowing in reverse through the alternator warning light.
I just use 1N4001 diode but put them in series with the blue alternator
warning light wiring inside the car on the back of the instrument cluster.
Ford put them
shrink sleeve to get it waterproof
