When I put the Fiat five-cylinder engine in my 2+2, it was with the
assistance of a garage who provided a letter for the DVLA. The main issue
we had was that the engine number was illegible; we had to go back to the
scrapped donor and provide it from there, and then DVLA were happy.

Hi
Good luck hope you get it sorted. Just as an example of an extreme engine
change my friend put a v10 Viper engine in a sierra cosworth its on you
tube he did the exact procedure for that. I know at least a dozen people
who have done this so don't be put off someone up there in an MOT station
Thanks for all that info. It is strange no-ones knows about it. I'll ring up
STS Tyre Pros on Monday and speak to the manager.

runs out on the 11th of July.

carried out? If I just put it through a MOT, could I send the piece of
paper with the V5C form off to Swansea? Would that be enough evid

on the road just an MOT a report from the MOT station saying its done to a
standard of road worthy all new engine numbers filled in on V5 and stating
them on the report. Then you send it to Swansea. If they have any probl
Hi al

the work has been carried out to a quality standard and safe to use on the
road. You send this with your log book filled out to the new engine with
the engine no. which also has to appear on the report. Its takes a
