Hi Mark, not sure on where they break as it a mates car and I haven't seen the
broken ones. Cycle wing backets on most 7 Style cars are a weak point as the
vibrate constantly. Most will be replaced at some point in the cars lifetime.

Mine broke a few mouths ago and where remade in 3mm flat bar by a local
fabricator.

I've welded mine a couple of time now and think I have a strong design now.
I've inserted a solid bar into the oval tube and welded that into place.
