Hi,
Adding gdal-bin in before-install appears indeed to solve the issue! Thank
you very much for the help!

not showing up. Could the issue be that I didn't bump the
version? I made a new commit just now changing the version, but I assume
it would take some time to be transferred to the package source, so I
wanted to know in advance if that could be the problem.
Thanks,

Hi Martin,
thanks for your reply.
That's what I thought (hoped), but I wanted to be sure before submitting.

R-packa
Dear David,
sorry for the late reply: I didn't notice your message earlier since it
ended-up in a different thread.
Thanks for your suggestion: this is actually what I'm currently planning
to do, since also my package can work without the GUI.

Lorenzo

Is this a viable solution (clearly, provided I ask permission to the user
before installing with p_load) ?
Thanks in advance,

In this way, I can:
1)

Dear all, I am currently in the process of releasing this github
package on CRAN:
https://github.com/lbusett/MODIStsp
, but I am encountering some issues which I hope someone can help
me overcome. Sorry for the long message, but the problem is difficult
to explain briefly. Also, since
trying to fix it for a long time now !
Thanks in advance !

Hi Dirk,
Thanks for your suggestion.
Seems that I have the same issue with the inline package, here is my output
:
INLINE SIMPLE EXAMPLE
library(Rcpp)
library(inline)
library(RcppArmadillo)
foo - '
+ int i, j, na, nb, nab;
+ double *xa, *xb, *xab;
+ SEXP ab;

Hi Duncan,
Thanks for your help, I am actually using R Windows version 2.14.1 (22th Dec
2011).
Actually by R CMD SHLIB *.* I actually meant putting any file name after
the R CMD SHLIB (R CMD SHLIB convolve.c for example).
Another case which fails is : creating a Rcpp Armadillo package skeleton
message.
I can finally use Rcpp and RcppArmadillo, love it !
Best,
Lorenzo
