Notes on Windows binary packages for R-1.8.x and R-devel --------------------------------------------------------
- Compiling (and checking!) Windows binaries of contributed CRAN packages for R-devel has been started. Package maintainers might want to check from time to time whether the results they get by the checks on Linux (http://cran.r-project.org/src/contrib/checkSummary.html) are consistent with those on Windows (http://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/contrib/checkSummaryWin.html).
- Compiling Windows binaries of contributed CRAN packages for R-1.8.x has been suspended.
