Hello everyone,
I will like to know if there is an R package to compute exact confidence
intervals for the ratio of two binomial proportions.
Tony.

Hello Everyone,
I am currently writing a C function to compute confidence interval for
generalized linear models ("binomial data") based on Empirical Likelihood.
I wanted to ask if there is a function in R capable of performing this
computation. My current plan is to call C form R, and hopefull
Hello everyone,
I am working with binary outcomes and many of the proportions in some of
my groups are 1; indicating values at the boundary of the parameter space.
I am interested in finding some references in dealing with this issue when
estimating standard error.
I used the delta method to
Hello everyone.
I wanted to ask if there is an R function to estimates (confidence
intervals) attributable fraction (vaccine efficacy) from a binomial model
with a predictor with more than two levels (vaccinates, controls, other).
Thank you very much.

Hello everyone.
Currently I am running R 2.2.1 (windows), and I will like to update to
2.3. I wanted to ask if it is possible to update without having to removed
2.2.1; or do I first need to delete 2.2.1?
Thank you very much.

Hello everyone.
I have 6 to 10 strata with 6 to 12 subject within each stratum. I will
like to do bootstrap to compute a confidence interval for an estimator
which is a function of the Wilconson sum rank test. Are there any function
in R to do this? Any reference will be helpful.
Thank you

Hello everyone.
I would like to know if there is any R library to perform adaptive
rejection sampling.
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone.
I want to write some likelihood functions to use with optim. For example
AR-structures, I have written a couple of functions that appear to get the
job done. But, since I am new to R, I wanted to ask if there are any
references in this topic.
Thanks in advance,

Hello everyone.
I am trying to get a confidence interval for the risk ratio
(vaccinates/control) from the following model:
fit.1<-glm(sick~trt + loc, data=b, family=binomial).
here trt is one for vaccinates and 0 for control, loc is a binary (1/0)
variable.
I am trying to get a reference to a
Hello. We are trying to install R on our network, and I wanted to ask if
there is a user license agreement. I will be grateful if somebody can send
me a link to it; if one exists.
Thank you very much

Hello.
Some months age an e-mail was posted in which a comparison between Glimmix
and glm was discussed. I have not been able to find that e-mail on the R
archive. Does anyone recall the date of the above e-mail?
Thank you very much.

I am using the following code to get estimates of the variances of the
levels of factor 1 (factor1).
lme(sp1~factor1-1,data=z.a.1,random=pdBlocked(list(pdIdent(~factro1-1),pdIdent(~factor2-1))),
weights=varIdent(~1|factor1))
In this study factor 1 is crossed with factor 2. is this correct?
Hello.
I am looking for a reference to compute prediction intervals from a mle
object.
Thank you.
