I am trying to optimize a likelihood function using constrOptim. I
know from prior research that, e.g. x1x2. Is there a way to include
that constraint into the optimization routine, i.e. the ci
constraint? The examples I found only use absolute numeric values for
the constraint and not
Hello,
I need a little initial help with the MNP package.
I am trying to analyze a discrete choice experiment with the following
settings:
- choice sets consist of 3 alternatives
- choice alternatives are constructed by e.g. two attributes, say brand and
price.
- brand has three levels and
Logit - some one wrote a free routine that
converts Ken Train's GAUSS code to Ox. Afraid I don't have time to look up
the website addresses.
Hope this helps,

Hello everyone,
I am new to this list and the R-Project, so I hope my question is not
trivial or has been answered before. I searched the FAQs and the mailing
list archives and I could not find anything about Conjoint Analysis. I am
especially interested in Choice-based Conjoint, resp. discrete
