Hi Folks
I am trying to use Xemacs/ess 5.2 on windows XP and have a problem with the RODBC
package in R1.9.0
library(RODBC)
channel<-odbcConnect("mysql")
Warning messages:
1: [RODBC] ERROR: Could not SQLDriverConnect
2: ODBC connection failed in: odbcDriverConnect(paste("DSN=", dsn, ";UID=", uid,
";PWD=", pwd,
But the same code works in the Rterm, Rgui with the same R1.9.1
On a Windows 2000 computer with R1.9.1 and Xemacs/ESS 5.1.24 the same code is working.
Any ideas sugestions?
