I use the R-2.3.0 with sciViews in windows XP homw
now. Mostly it is fine. But every booting, sciView
failed for the first time and said that it could not
establish connection with R. After closing
everything, it works fine since. I hope these

Have you tried
Misc => Toolbars => Command
on the menu? Don't click until you get to Command, otherwise the menu closes
again for some reason.
