Thank you for your reply, Edzer,
I am not very profficient at R OO programming so If you don't mind, can you
then suggest me a way to deal with the situation? My second class sometimes
does not have data, I need to be able to create objects inherited from an
emtpy STIDF class.
any suggestions?
Thanks for your interest, and timely fix, Edzer.
Do you also think that some modifications can be done in the way STFDF and
STSDF are subsetted? I understand that they are different than STIDF as
length(rural@sp)!=nrow(rural@data)

I am reflecting on a data structure that will allow us to perform all kinds
of spectral operations we normally do in remote sensing. Due to lack of an
appropriate data structure supporting spatially based spectral data, right
now we have to keep our data in non-georeferenced N-dimensional arrays.
dear Edzer,
Thanks a lot for the wonderful improvement. It certainly makes it easier.

I have recently been introduced to the promising package called spacetime
which helps solve some of the data management problems we regularly
encounter with time-series of spatial data. I would like to congratulate the
developers of this wonderful package.
My question : Is there a way to
Hi Tom,
Thanks a million for your fast, accurate reply. I did not apply that to my
imagery yet but the test I did show that it seems to work...
thank you!
