Hi All, I've just pinned down a problem I'm having with image(spatialGridDataFrame, breaks=*). This relates to the recent 'colour scale' post as my rworldmap package (excuse the plug!) has options for plotting multiple world maps using the same colour scale too. The toy example below, including

Apologies, having just updated sp from version 0.9-66, 2010-07-07, (I know I should have done that before posting) it seems that the main problem has been fixed, but image(spatialGridDataFrame,breaks=) does still seem to generate the warning 'breaks' is not a valid graphical parameter. Thanks,

The reason is that it is being absorbed by the ... in the argument list, and then gets passed on both to plot (to set up the plotting region, aspect ration, axes etc) and to image. The first however doesn't understand this, hence the warning. This doesn't look hard to solve, it's basically a bit
