Dear all,
I tried to read a tree like this:
#NEXUS
begin trees ;
tree tagged_tree = [&U]
(A,(B,(C,D)60)100);
end ;
using read.nexus; while figtree reads it, ape refuses, telling that
there is an error:
Error in start:end : NA/NaN argument
I tried readNexus in phylobase, but there is a problem
ead and written back to a file with no problem, but the
consensus freezes and returns nothing, Is it a way to solve this?
All the best,
Daniel

Hello all,
I am trying to collapse some nodes in a tree but using node.label and
not edge.length, is there a way to convert node.label to
edge.length? or a function to collapse a node but using node.label
directly?
Daniel
