Hi all,
I'm testing authentication with Radiator 2.17.1 on OpenLDAP 1.2.11 (each
on a separate sever, both on a private testing network), and I have
trouble with MD5 encryption.
On the LDAP server, passwords are stored in the form :
{MD5}ZviHb9U7k5r2YaTNG6QuTA== [this format is known as MD5
Are you sure you don't get CHAP password from the NAS?
/Ingvar

Radiator:
Does anyone have any more information or know of any caveats about the
disconnection message "tsExitErrClosed", other than "connection closed by
foreign host"?
We're running Cisco AS5300's with Radiator 2.16.
The NAS's also use Virtual-Templates to enable per-user RADIUS attributes.

Does anyone have complete schema definitions for OpenLDAP 2.x RADIUS
implementation. I am starting one based on the internet draft
'draft-aboba-radius-04', but wanted to see if anyone else has done this
yet.

Hello Michael -
You would use the RewriteUsername construct.
This topic has been discussed many times on the list:

BTW - my advice is always to just reject usernames with illegal characters in
them.
