(RADIATOR) Static IP Address using cisco Access Server

Dear friends, We have defined default IP pool at the Access Server. We want to assign a particular IP address for a user. At the radius side we have given Framed IP Address = 193.1.1.1. but it still takes the IP from the assigned pool. How can we assign static IP for the user. Thanks and

(RADIATOR) Ascend-Data-Rate

Does anyone know if there a way to use the Ascend-Data-Rate and Ascend-Xmit-Rate variables when you first do an insert into the RADONLINE table with SessionDatabase? I am thinking that radiator has not received those variables yet in an accounting packet. I want to be able to use the

Can't be sure without the config, but do you have it in there as Framed-IP-Address=193.1.1.1 or as you say, Framed IP Address = 193.1.1.1? If not, check your log to see if it is erroring out. Try it the way it is in the dictionary file. -Ronan -Original Message- From: [EMAIL

Hello - The correct spelling of the attribute is: Framed-IP-Address = 193.1.1.1 You may also need to do some configuration on the NAS so that it will accept an IP address assignment from radius. To say any more I will need to see a copy of your configuration file (no secrets)

Hello Eric - You can specify your own table layout for the RADONLINE table and then configure your own queries in the SessionDatabase SQL clause. You may also need to modify the radwho.cgi script if you are using it. Have a look at section 6.7 in the Radiator 3.0 reference manual.

Hello Sergio - I seem to remember that you have to set up a virtual template (or something similar) to support this. You should also check the Cisco web site to verify what is required for your IOS version. Anyone else? regards Hugh On Fri, 12 Apr 2002 11:26, Sergio Gonzalez wrote:
