I understand your proposal, but this was just an example.
In a typical configuration, if Radiator make the Authentication and
the Accounting, what happens is (only regarding radonline, the session
database) :
- Auth Request coming in - One DELETE
- Acct Start ticket - One DELETE + One INSERT.

As Frank says, the Identifier in the Client clause can be very useful,
as you can use it to group NAS equipment by POP location, or by vendor
and/or model, or whatever. The Identifier does not need to be unique.

If you don't do a make install there is no problem. If you do a make
install there may or may not be a problem depending on your version of
Perl. You are probably better to upgrade in any case.
