Hi everyone,
I just installed a Max 6000 as an RAS, with authentification and
accounting to a radiator server. But the authentification isn't
succesfull, even though I can see the radiator server sending the
'Accesss-Accept' packets to the Ascend box.
Here is the log file:

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with a Cisco AS5300 and the disconnect causes. They
appear as integers (Ascend-Disconnect-Cause = 45) in the log file,
and they are inserted into the database as integers as well. The
radiator is started with -dictionary-file pointing to the 'generic'

Hi again,
Found the solution to my problem, it was:
Ethernet->Mod Config->Auth->Allow Auth Config Rqsts=0/1
Thanks anyways,

Hi everyone,
I am having the same problem as described under the Radiator FAQ
(http://www.open.com.au/radiator/faq.html#74) on my Ascend Max 6000,
but the solution there doesn't help. I have tried setting
Ethernet->Mod Config->TServ options->Remote Conf=No, but I still get

Hi everyone,
I am looking for somebody who set up the DLink DWL-900AP+ up as hotspot
with authentification through radiator, I have some questions about
this AP's hardware & sw capabilities...
Thanks a lot, and sorry for being off-topic,
bogdan

Hi everyone,
I have some problems when trying to install Radiator-2.19 with MySQL
3.23.55 and Perl 5.6.1. Radiator starts ok, but when I try to make a test
I get the following message:

Hi everyone,
And thanks a lot for your replies regarding how to use SQL functions
inside a PostAuthHook!
Right now I have another problem, unfortunately. I am sending
Session-Timeouts for some of our customers, and they get disconnected
indeed, but they are not deleted from the 'pools'
llocateIPAddressFromProxy in the file goodies/hooks.txt. You

Hi Kurt,
And first of all, thanks for the reply. But your solution doesn't really
work. I am using right now something like 5 different realms for
different purposes, so I don't know the 'initial' realm of

Hi guys,
I was wondering how easy would be to convince radiator to use another
"realm separator", instead of the '@' character? I am having troubles over
here in germany, with a big ISP (T-Online) who is installing a piece of
software on their client's machines. And that piece of softwar
hi guys,
I have some strange problems, for a day or so, with some dialers which
are dialing our numbers by mistake (telecom call routing fuckup). We run
some cisco AS5300 with authentification on radiator 2.19. The problem is
that these dialers throw an "Access-Request" like:

Hi guys,
It seems that I don't know how to use PreAuthHook properly. I would like
to do something like: if a username matches a certain patter (in my case,
the last two chars are 'es'), then rename the username to a known one
'abracadabra', and do the authentification (fetch 'abracadabra
Hi guys,
Thanks for all that helped... I have managed to make my 'weirdo setup'
work now..
Thanks,

Hi guys,
I have a weirdo requirement and don't know how to implement it in the
radiator. So this were the requirements up until now:
1. all users should go through. No authentification is done.
2. the users should be disconnected after, let's say, 45 minutes
That mean I had a row in a
