Is there a way to pass $u (original non-rewritten User-Name attribute) to
an AcctColumnDef within a realm definition that is using RewriteUsername
to strip the realm off? I had hoped RewriteUsername was order-sensitive
but it applies to the entire Realm definition. I played with a few

I could swear up and down that I once saw an example of this either in the
Radiator reference or the FAQ but I can no longer dig it up:
I need to refuse logins on certain NAS's for explicit UNIX groups. For the
sake of precision I'll also describe it this way: I need to allow users in

I need to rewrite a username within a specific client ONLY if it has a
certain one of the domains I proxy in it.
i.e.:
I proxy xyz.com with a Realm already.
I proxy abc.com with a Realm already.
If someone logs into client X as [EMAIL PROTECTED], rewrite to
username@xyz-special.

I have a Livingston server (will be migrated to Radiator in the future)
which rdist's the users file to a Radiator server (2.15). I've set up an
"AuthBy UNIX" phrase with a Identifier of "System" for the "Auth-Type =
System" entries in my Livingston users file:
Identifier System
The output below is copied from radwho.cgi and are

Okay, I have some options now at least with accounting. I just have to work
them out.
If a Radiator server, in the process of proxying (AuthBy Radius), times out
with a remote host when sending accouting packets is this the only time it
will save accounting info into a local accounting file if on
Is it possible to have radiator also forward accounting packets to another
radius server? We have agreements with some other ISP's to allow realm
logins on each other's modems and we would like to be able to easily each
get our account usage.

If I try to use WtmpFileName in radius.cfg I get an "Unknown keyword
'WtmpFileName' in /usr/local/etc/radius.cfg" error. There's nothing in the
revision history (that I could find) about it being removed yet I couldn't
find it in the radiusd source either. It is, however, in the example
