We have the same problem, and Radiator handles quite well the load. However, the RAS equipment was already showing heavy loads because of those clients. What we did to handle the load was to actually *accept* the clients, but with an ACL denying service. This way they get configured, stop making

Hello Robert - This is really a problem with the PPPoE clients, not Radiator. This topic has been discussed on the list before and the consensus of opinion is that it is better to apply filters rather than NAK'ing. The reason for this of course is that a NAK will not stop the requests. See the

Robert, We kind of solved is by adding Port-Limit=1. In our case this makes Redback refuse more connections from the same VP/VC, until the stuck session has been removed. The reason for the stuck sessions, is usually an unclean logoff, no PPP tear-down. We had a problem with users assigned a fi
