Just for the sake of it: some weeks ago I did several experiments where
I forced a reconnect (to get a new IP) of my VDSL modem/router after

Thanks. Then is a bug, not a feature request.
Is there a way to assign alarm.mp3 as an Alarm Sound? to test the

That's what I did before I posted my comment! I just thought that there
wasn't a back-up alarm.
What I did was, I turned off my network connection (shut down my router

The alarm screen came up on
According to my postage scale, it's 1224 grams - for just the radio, not
the power cord.

This is probably the dumbest question ever...but I just got my

every other button to scroll down in the menu and nothing
Thanks, I guess something is wrong then.

Thanks for your reply. Tried the latest 7.5 beta firmware, still no
luck.

meter, signal strength 30%.
I will take this back for a replacement or a repair.
Thanks,

Thx for your answer. The icon color is blue.
I will try to do some more tests. At the moment, connection to msb.com
seems to work. But when I get connected to the server, I get no sound. I
have to switch off/on the radio.

FYI, I did a test where I did a factory reset and set up networking with
my SSID not hidden, and everything worked as expected. Updated the bug
report with the new info. Seems to clearly indicate that the hidden
SSID on initial networking setup was what triggered the bug.

The scenario is talking about a local SB-Server, which is just turned

I guess as long as you don't pull the power cable, the backup alarm
should go off.
Doesn't work for me (I tried a factory reset)
