OIC, so once bypassing initial MySB registration, then connecting to
SBS, you are never again bothered with MySB registration queries.

I am used to switch off my computer every evening (and so SBS).
In the morning, I am using mysqueezebox.com in order to hear some
internet radio on my Radio. It connects and works fine.
As soon as my computer is switched on and I want to hear some of my own
music on the Radio, I am connecting to

No - sorry if I wasn't clear. It's only if you do a factory reset -
not if you just power on/off or unplug or just connect to SBS.

Yeah, that's how I got around the MySB account requirement before (or
created a bogus account).
But I'm trying to emulate this now (Factory Reset, setup Radio from
scratch) but
You might want to try: press and hold the BACK ( <= ) key until you can
escape the MySB "wizard"

Wow! That sucks.
So every time Radio connects to SBS it bugs you for a MySB account?

toby, only on a factory reset - power on/off doesn't lead to a prompt to
set up an SN account if you bypass it (although, like you I'm using a
beta unit not a retail unit).

"-Siduhe Loved Tracks radio got the thumbs up. Feedback
Once you "escape" the MySB login, connect to SBS (but SBS also has no
valid MySB account), does the Radio continue to bug you about setting up
a MySB account?
Just curious. I always bypass the MySB login when I reset my beta
players, but then I'm always connecting them to my local SBS which has
"The radio tries hard to make me create a mysqueezebox.com account,
which I don't plan to do, since these will get used on a LAN with no
internet access anyway."
You can escape the creation of an account by, as I recall, pressing and
holding the BACK ( <= ) button until it goes back to the "Home"
Today:
Radio & Boom, both on MySB, playing same stream (not Synced), MP3 128k
internet radio station:
Boom: Kept playing stream, no problems
Radio: Stopped playing stream, no error or stopped message, icon did
display Stopped
Earlier today (unrelated to above) Radio rebooted itself while playin
To be clear, the loss of connectivity is not the wireless connection,
but the connection to the Internet in general, such as the DSL line
glitching or a router being rebooted.

Perhaps I should have been clearer - it is an intermittent problem FOR
ME so it is hard to track.
I also confirmed that the 'backup alarm' doesn't work reliably when
required and would seem on the surface to be an easy one to fix, so it
should be fixed asap.
That's 4p now.
Cheers
