AFAICT This American life is served from a different server than other NPR podcasts. If I pause the Podcast, I can restart it from same place. I suspect if you pause for too long, the server resets the network connection as some servers expect podcasts to be streamed in their entirety to a PC

Agree with your comments: Erland's custom clock is my screensaver. Even when playing, for the Radio I prefer a BIG clock as that is the only clock now in my bedroom. I also agree that Logitech should work to make it EASIER for the 3rd party developers - that's what sets the Squeezebox apart is

FFW/REW is uspported for podcast as long as the podcast server supports it. Not all podcast server support FFW/REW. Pausing podcats are also dependent on the server - the pause has a timeout which seems to be podcast server dependent. Currently BBC Listen Again requires the BBCiPlayer plugin

I suspect all the menu and context menu navigation isn't supported through the CLI interface. It indeed isn't through the button command. Please file a bug. Button is limited to Boom/Classic (and older). IMHO the button command should be deprecated. -- Michael
