Alarm off!! The 'Natural sounds' are back.
A re-boot of the NAS and the sounds were back.
Kind regards

The main reason was that the skin always gave me what I wanted at no
cost so I didn't see the need for the extra expenditure.

I know you all said it will be avilable last half of this month.
I was hoping it ha an alphabet on the keyboard. Cause I have to do a
lot of searching for certain stations or talk show hosts etc I want to
listen to.
I did look at a pic of the Boom remote and was disappointed no

I used this troubleshooting link to resolve my problem:

The radio was particular about the security settings.

No filtering (radio IS included but filtering deactivated), SSID
unhidden, no password protection in SqueezeCenter.

The clock should be synced every hour. You shouldn't see a drift of five
minutes in this time. If you do so, you might want to check the logs, whether
there's a problem communicating.

My SB will just stop playing intermittently. Sometimes it will play for
an hour or so, sometimes it will stop playing every five to ten minutes.
If I press play when it is stopped sometimes it will resume and
sometimes it won't. Usually I have to reboot it to get it working
again. I listen to a

+1
Totally agree with those sentiments. Alarm behaviour is such a critical
feature - even if its only a tiny fraction of what the radio can do.
Need to be able to actually see the time when the alam has gone off

that point on the clock will drift.

clock to synch back up.

Im curious does the Squeezebox see Broadcast NTP packets and update its
clock accordingly?... I can understand why the person would want the
Squeezebox to run NTPD.. I'v seen many times when the squeezebox is off
by 2-3 minutes on the network.

Well, in my case it CAN'T be a network equipment - for the SB CONTROLLER

of course) as the Radio. So there must be something different bout the

Ahh, I didn't know that the radio is synchronizing with the server. That
explains why NTP is not available on the radio.

that my radio was a few seconds ahead of my desktop PC. The reason for
this turned out to be that my ser
