The sticky above shows battery availability as '2nd half January'. I'm
planning to visit the US at the end of this week, and was considering
ordering it for delivery while I'm there. Is there any place it can be
ordered yet as I can't find it on the logitech.com (US) site.
Thanks,
Tom

That's fine - Beb only a week away. :-)
Question stands - is there a way to order it now? Or can anyone
confirm as of 1st Feb?

It's also 5 weeks away, since Feb 28 still counts as Feb 2010. Are
you a glass-half-full or glass-half-empty kind of person? ;o)

Well, in this context, I'd like to be a 'glass half full' kind of
person and assume February means the start of it - especially since it

You can give it any name you want, as long as it has an extension of
.map, and it will show up under that name in the user interface.

The radio fetches the time from the squeezebox server. Or, if you don't
use a squeezebox server from mysqueezebox.com

Are you sure? I just SSH'd into my squeezebox server, and I got the

finally this morning I received my SB Radio... can't wait to go home to
set it up.
While in the office I decided to play with it for a while, but, having
firewalls everywhere I downloaded a SB server and tryed to set up the
radio connected to it.
Sadly and surprisingly I counldn't do that because
I get a spinning wheel when I try to get the Applet list to come up. I
looked for other posts on this issue but I do not understand how to get

You were right... I did a bit more investigation. My debian server
wasn't syncing up with an NTP server, therefore its clock was
inaccurate. Googled around, picked up some configuration settings, and I
updated the server. Within a few minutes, I noticed that my Squeezebox
Radio clock had become

As for the SB Radio's timekeeping, with 7.4.x it doesn't sync with the
server very often, and several of us have seen it drift noticeably. For
me it was only losing about one minute per week, but others have
reported minutes per day. Rebooting

Do I sum your situation up correctly ?
- you did a factory reset, so your radio only knows about MySB.com
- when you try the alarm this instant its working with Sirius
- the alarm doesn't work next morning

Interestingly my alarm did not fire this morning either. No backup
sound or anything. It's been working (other than annoying loud startup
sound) for weeks so I thought it was highly unusual.
I accessed the SB Radio through iPeng and it said the radio was
playing. I ultimately had to reboot

Sadly and surprisingly I counldn't do that because I found that the
radio wants absolutely to be connected to mysqueezebox.com
So my question is: if at home I had no internet connection and wanted

Is it really not

Are you sure your radio is connected to the server? Open the SB server,
go to advance settings then player. See if you see your radio. If not,
unplug your modem and router and shutdown your pc and radio. Then
restart modem, then router then pc. Then reset your radio and you should
connect.
Is there an update to this?
I just got my Squeezebox Radio and am using it only to listen to Sirius
(mainly to wake up to Howard).
I am seeing the issue of the spinning wheel pretty damn often. When I
try to select a menu item I just get the spinning wheel until I reboot.
It will go away for
