As erlend suggests your issues are not a universal problem for all
users, which would indicate not being a hardware problem.
My Radio does not turn itself ON or OFF under any conditions including

With SBS running on your computer you can type or paste a direct stream
URL and it will play, no online MySB.com needed.
Plugins installed within the SBS program then require your player be
connected to that same instance of SBS.
Plugins are server dependent.

SBS can act as a UPnP client but I don't think I've seen any applet
doing it.

Is there a way or plug-in that i can use the Light-sensor as a On/Off
switch??
Example:
Radio on the toilet, light is out radio stops.
Some one is using it, light went on and the radio is playing.

AFAIK there is no such plugin. You would need to implement that on SB
Radio by reading the ambient light sensor value and then simulate play
/ stop button events.
