I've not seen a Mute button on any SB player IR remote.
Easiest workaround is to just hit Pause instead.

Lots of problems when using Mysqueezebox.com. They include the radio
turning off shortly after turn on, turning on randomly, art not
updating, tons of alarm problems, etc.
Best way to see the issues is to do a search specific to the SB Radio
Just managed to get round to trying this - was a bit phased by remote
logging into the radio etc - but it was all so easy! And works a
treat!

I too get this very annoying 'feature'.
It seems that with iPeng on the iPad I can see what's playing, though
even that is not working properly either, with each album being delayed
by 1 song.

Thank you Mnyb. You hit the nail on the head. I thought firmware was
packed in the package. Didn't know that it is downloaded after server
is running. After enabling check for update and later restarting the
server, the radio prompt for the firmware update immediately.
