Factory reset, maybe ?
Turn it *really* Off a couple of times ,long press on the power button
.
Do this while the power cable is connected.
I do try beta software 7.6 9037 and my radio went bonkers after upgrade
,but was ok after a couple of restarts from true Off.

Try a factory reset? This will erase your wifi pw & radio preferences,
but it might be worth it if it's your last resort.
Hold power button until it shuts off. Press & hold the "+" (plus)
button as you press the power button to turn it back on until you see
the factory reset screen.

I assume you're listening to internet radio (or are you listening to
SbS on your own computer and your own music?). In either case, it

To eliminate wifi as a potential source of this problem, I plugged the

Yes, I've uplugged and restarted everything I can think of...
including the modem and router and SB radio.
BTW, the radio works ok on my two SB Touch's.

Well I had a few good months with the Squeezebox radio. Over the past
few days, I downloaded latest software (7.5.1 9009) and inserted the
new battery. Now I get no sound at all. Have had this problem for a
few days now. It finds the network ok, and the station, and LOOKS like
it is playing th

Honestly I think the complete software design is broken to the core.
They seem to try to fix this by adding patches and workarounds instead
of fixing the underlying issues. Maybe they are not able to find them
or simply know too little about real time systems and robustness, maybe
they figured the

Tell me about it. Since the latest firmware update, the random stoppage
bug appears to have raised its ugly head once again. It was mo
Just curious, have you rebooted your wireless router?
I find the Squeezebox devices sensitive to that after a firmware
change. I'll be unable to connect but as soon as I reboot the router,
everything is fine.

If there are several wi-fi networks near you, there is every chance that
one of them may be interfering with yours.
Can you see what channels are in use (via Netstmubler or similar) and
move your wi-fi channel far away from all of them?

Quick update.
I've stopped SBS to see how the SBR gets on streaming solely from
mySB.com. No joy. I'm still getting the same problems, which would
seem to suggest that the problem lies not with SBS, but with the SBR
(or router).
