I play all my music from a pc. The SB3 awakes the pc and when I am
finished the pc goes to sleep. Now I want to use Squeezebox radio
without awakening the pc, is this possible?

If you switch the radio to mysqueezebox.com all the time ?
If you had it conected to your local server it will now about and wake
it and possibly conect to it if you go into the my music menu .

Leave Radio connected to MySB.com all the time, as Mnyb suggests.
Or if Radio does wake PC (which it will do if it was last connected to
SBS on your computer), then just switch to MySB.com with a simple Menu
click.
Your PC will go back to sleep in a few minutes.
