Actually, I bought a Radio so it can sit on my desk at work and play music, rather than for an alarm clock. I didn't want the larger size of the Boom, and I'm not playing it real loud, so Stereo isn't an issue. Plus I like to see the album art as well, and the weather screensaver (add-on applet)

I belong to those that - with the help of a local server - has 99,5% reliable alarms. I'm waking up every day for work to a radio stream I configured. Only in 1% of cases I hear the fallback alarm. As I'm one of those who has deep insights into the alarm code I also trust it's fallback mechanism
