Ok, I disabled UPnPwill I noticed any decreased functionality with
the router other than hopefuly the fix for my issue? What is UPnP for?

I manage to listen to most of a song and then it loses the wifi network

I have the feeling that is just a problem with routers and/or IP
alocation. Try to make DHCP Reservation in router's menu. And check
again port forwarding just to be sure.
Is the wifi signal icon changing on SBR display?
