Like m1abrams, the Radio has been perfectly stable for me for well over
a year now. I used it as an alarm for about 6 months and it never
failed me. Except for the time when I didn't have the battery pack yet
and the electricity went out in the neighborhood. I use a local server

I have a Radio and it has woken me every morning for the over a year
now. The radio is connected via Wifi that is pretty much at the
extreme reach of my wifi access point. On maybe a few occasions the
alarm used the backup alarm, however I suspect because of the weak
wifi. For a little while we

I own three radios (one of each color) and I love them. However, like a
previous post, I don't use and don't care about the alarms and I rarely
used mysb.com. The only connection problem I've had with them turned
out to be my routers problem after a firmware update.

I bought a SB Radio about a week ago to use in the kitchen, and my wife
liked it so much, we bought another one for her bathroom. I did have
some strange preset button issues with certain radio stations with SBS
7.5.3 (or at least I think I did), but they went away when I rolled back
to 7.5.2. Ev
I have zero stability problems with my Radio, but then I don't use the
alarm or mysqueezebox.com on it.

I have a Squeezebox classic and a boom and would like to get another
one.
I've held of buying another Boom in the hope the radio would become

The radio is now just over £100 at Amazon, and wondered whether it was

Radio arrived today. Straightforward set up, plugged in, gave it the
wifi password, it patched itself a couple of times, and that was it.
I'd say the sound is impressive for the size of box, certainly adequate
for casual listening in a bedroom.
Daughter is delighted, now son wants one too.

When i paused the a song, there were a high pitched sound in the

And when turning the sound up it sounds like an old fm radio.

7.5.3 was released almost two months ago (around January 24). Check what
version you are running. For example, on the Radio itself look under
Settings > Advanced > About (or maybe Information). On the SBS web ui
look under Settings > Information.

What version of SBS are you running? If it's not the latest release
(7.5.3) then you'll get the firmware switching every time you go
between SBS and mysb.com.
