Hoping someone can help! Whist on internet radio - push + then "save to
favourites" - when I check Favourites on the radio it says "empty".
When I look on the web MYSQUEEZEBOX I can see all the saved favourites!
Thanks in advance.

And if you switch make sure to set the alarms afterwards.
Not that you end up with an alarm set on your local (off) server and no
alarm set on mysb.com.

Did you know: *'SqueezePlayer' (www.squeezeplayer.com)* will stream all
your music to your Android device. Take your music eve
It will play a stream as your alarm from MySB.com. However, to do so
you must manually switch the Radio to MySB.com before you go to bed.
All SqueezeBox players connect to (or attempt to connect to) whatever
server they were last connected to, be it SBS server on your computer
or MySB.com online.
You're very lucky that the Radio remembers more than one password. Old
Squeezeboxes weren't capable of that.

No, you can actually connect your player directly to MySB.com for
internet radio, apps, services, podcasts, etc... but no local music
access. No
If I set my alarm to play a radio station, does it always go through the
SB server or can I have it go through mysqueezebox.com? I have the SB
server running on a laptop that goes into sleep mode and I would rather
not send a WOL if I can help it. Thanks.

G compatibility mode(known formally as mixed mode) did not work for me.
It needed to be into G mode only --- only for the SBR. SB3 works
fine in mixed mode.

Thank you for the info. I ordered a TP Link myself and it is due to be
delivered anytime now. The security setting information will be a big
help as I understand the AP is a little difficult to set up.

Auto switching between two different SSID's, no.
To place menu items on your Home Menu go to Radio > Settings > Home
Menu
In your case you want "Choose Network" (it is located near the bottom
of the list).

Hi,
Okay, thanks for suggestions.
What do you mean by "don't switch player to MySB.com" ?
If I switch from My Music on SBS and Internet Radio ?
On MySB it say the FW of the SBR is 7.5.4-r9408, so not really aligned
to my SBCenter 7.5.3.
Will try to update the SBC to 7.5.4 too.

Sometimes I take my Radio over to my buddy's place. To make it connect
I need to fudge around in the Networking menu to change the WiFi SSID
(which, thankfully, it remembers the password) and also change the
music server. And then when I take it home I need to put it all back.
I didn't see a wa

I chose the TP Link as it was flexible, and cheap. I thought that if
it didn't work best
The most common cause of this is switching your player between SBS and
MySqueezeBox.com. Your SBS is 7.5.3 and MySB.com is 7.5.4.
Solutions..
- don't switch player to MySB.com
- update your SBS to 7.5.4 (if possible)
- do switch and do the FW updates each time
- do switch and refuse the FW u
Hi,
Just bought a SB Radio two weeks ago and I'm going nuts as it ask me
again and again for FW update.
I always say YES, the FW download, install and the SBR restart.
Then ask again and again to update the FW G... really annoying

I'd like to know what security settings you used for the TP Link. I
don't believe the support page has suggestions for this AP. Also, I'm
curious as to why you chose The TP Link.

Nice suggestion! Sadly, no - it won't let me. MySB.com reads my IP
address, and puts up a block, saying that from its information, I am
not in that location (the UK).
Yargh. This is tremendously frustrating. My Spotify Premium Account
is designed to be used internationally - to be used freely

Thanks for the tip - it worked first time and there's some decent stuff
on there and sound quality is superb, particularly noticeable on live
material.

"Forbidden" would suggest that you were maybe trying to access a station
that is not allowed from your geographical location? Or maybe is just
restricted at certain hours.
If radio playback is stopping & won't re-start it may just be poor wifi
coverage or interference from a neighbours router or
Hmmm ok - set the power option and now when I switch the radio on in the
morning a box flashes up and I only got a quick view of it but it says
"forbidden . and some thing looks like the stream URL etc"
And again back to the antenna and off...
And according to the screen Ken Bruce of Radio2
