Thanks for these replies - and apologies for the lateness in my doing
so. That's made things a lot clearer.

For some time I've been enjoying the excellent BBC 320k broadcasts and
am looking for some way of recording the feed on my laptop. I have
downloaded some concerts from the iPlayer, but these are almost all at
128kb, and there is, of course, a noticeable deterioration in quality.

Is there a programme/piece of software that anyone can recommend which
will capture the live feed at 320kb - ideally with some sort of timer
allowing a recording to be programmed?
I use 'Total Recorder' from High Criteria to record from iPlayer and
other sources and

I am not sure it's just a mySB.com issue :
it happens just after 7.6.1
most of the time my Boom works fine (not same king of fw).
Maybe mySB.cam has problem but it's seems thats Radio and Touch have

You can save the live HTTP/AAC feed to a file using mplayer. This will
record the AAC audio stream exactly as transmitted with no decoding or
transcoding unlike applications which capture audio from soundcard.
It is not user friendly and any scheduling and file naming will have to
be done
I just tried to http to mysqueezebox.com and got a 504 Bad Gateway
error.
Until Logitech rule out their server(s) as the issue then we're all
going round in circles

I thought I would share this because it might help someone. We recently
had our att U-verse 2Wire 3800HGV modem/gateway/router replaced with a
newer 3801HGV model due to issues with the older unit. I had always used
the 802.11g wireless transmitter in the 3800HGV gateway for my

Hey folks,
today i called the German logitech support center. the call center
agent was well-informed about the issue and he told me, that he has
exactly the same problems - he uses a SB Radio too.
He said, that the update had nothing to do with the nil-issue - the
problem is the server

that Logitech was going to solve the problem by the end of the week.
Thanks! That's the best information we've seen about
On the SBServer Iplayer App. is now called BBCRadio, it has all the

If using mysb.com - then install the iPlayer Applet (not the SBS
BBCiPlayer plugin or BBC App).
On Radio - Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer - uncheck Recommended
Applets On;ly and then install BBC Radio.
After installation and restart you will have a menu called BBC Radio
under My Apps

Thanks again!

Ok I understand
Well, Lets wait for the weekend so I can experiment with some
parameters (no time throughout the week) Although I am satisfied with
the results so far. I am hooked up to a second access point now wich
(after fiddling with the antennae) gives me just a little less signal

Hi MickeyG and all..Does anyone else besides myself have an
issue of the time being too small to read when you play your favorites
without the alarm clock going off. I would like the font size of the
alarm clock time to be an option when the radio is being played for
leasure as you can
