I have been affected by this issue for months. It has been getting
worse. Recently, I have been getting the backup alarm sound almost
every morning.
The work-around suggested by bluegaspode does not work for me. I have
been power-cycling my Squeezebox Radio every evening. This seems to get

Sometimes, when the alarm ends, the display stay showing the last radio

was listening to (no sound).
I have to turn off my device to have the display off.
