i have acquired a broken SB Radio for parts.
It will not power up and has a burned motor smell coming from it - I
have tried it with another Radio power supply, so that's not the
problem.
Does anyone have an actual experience with such a scenario? I a trying
to determine if there is a easy fix,
At night, I'd like to have one of the sound effects playing (eg. ocean
waves)
while the display is only showing the digital clock. Is this possible
to set up? Currently, there is an image associated with the sound
effect.

No - a cool addition I'd say.
Install SqueezePlayer + SqueezeCommander on top of it :)
But I do see it's available in the meantime, guess I'll give it a go in
the next 6 months !

I have made a mistake with a remote host.
I cannot connect to it (wrong ip). But it keeps appearing in the list
of libaries I could connect to.
How can I remove it from the list? Pressing the +-button does not
work

Seen it before, I think. Those two powerful speakers are 2W each IIRC.

It is a good concept for the next gen Boom. A Touch like display with
stereo speakers. That's the only thing that is appealing to me. From
the picture I would have some doubts about the sound quality of that
device.
