The issue started before March. I don't think I have a network issue.
All other wifi-connected devices has no problems and I can "see" the SBR
during the freeze in the Squeezebox app.

for about 6 years I have a squeezebox radio in use (with current
firmware 7.7.3 r16676),
mainly to listen to different radio stations. It is physically connected

Use upnp bridge for the Sonos - another SB player !
Touch, Logitech Radio, Logitech UE Radio, O2 Joggler + SqpOS
Managed to get a used Radio from eBay for £51 and also ordered a brand
new Sonos Play 1, they were reduced to £134 on Amazon, couldn't resist
