Have you installed the latest iPlayer plugin udpdate? I did this
yesterday and Radio 4 Extra is now a menu item in iPlayer (immediately
after Radio 4 LW).

I had the same (or similar) problem this morning. An alarm set for 6:45
went off at 6:44 with the (godawful) backup alarm. Turning this off
allowed the 'real' alarm to go off on schedule.
