When I try to listen to any of the Comedy streams, on quite a few of
them, I get 'There was an error loading the remote feed for : (Failed to
parse)'. Does anyone else get this error? Is it another BBC thing?

I can get BBC iplayer, but not the extras. I get 'There was an error

Yes, same error. No bbc iplayer, or anything. Re-booted radio a number
of times. Even restarted media server. I can access my media, but no

Yeah, it seems to be just on LMS. I've been on squeezebox server for a
while, and no problem, as soon as I try to connect to my music through
LMS, the signal indicator goes to red, and no signal.

I am going to have to re-install everything on my pc, so I will
obviously loose LMS. Is there a way of backing up all my pre-sets,
favourites etc. so I can just restore them when I re-install LMS?

Uninstalled/re-installed both iplayer and iplayer extras, and still no
joy. If I just go on bbc iplayer, and select listen live, Radio4 Extra
won't play either.

Enabled just WMA, and that didn't work either. Funny thing is though, if
I go through the process of selecting a program in iplayer extras,
through the web interface, it starts playing, but I can't select a
program through the radio itself.

There are errors in the server log file, but I can't seem to attach it,

Still not able to listen to Radio 4 Extra in real time. The icon appears
in the list, but selecting it, I get a '404 not found' error with a url,
which I can't write down, as it disappears so fast. The last bit I
notice, does mention something about bbc7.
know how to resolve it? This is my only problem with
Squeezebox radio, otherwise, it's a great piece of kit.

Am I missing something here? I thought I needed my pc on to access
internet radio. I'm also having problems with stations being 'flakey'.
I can't listen to LBC without the broadcast re-buffering every couple
of seconds. Can't be my router, as it has always been ok in

Since BBC7 has become Radio 4 Extra, do I need to do something to update
my squeezebox? The icon is still showing as BBC7, and yesterday, I
seemed to have all the early morning programs listed, then it jumped to
22.30, with nothing in between. Has anyone any ideas?

Thanks both. I was using Media Monkey, but all tracks weren't tagged. I
was tagging a couple, then trying it to see if it had worked. Even

I use Juice as well, but not for my squeezebox. On the subject of
Podcasts, can anyone recommend good British comedy podcasts? Something
similar to the brilliant Traces of Nuts. I found a few, but after
listening to a couple of episodes, removed the feed.

Is it just me, or is the volume through earphones, considerably lower
than without. When I have earphones plugged in, I have to turn the
volume right up. Then if I remove the earphones, I have to immediately
turn the volume down. Is there a fix for this?

Iplayer, it tries to connect, then says it can't. After several
attempts, it suddenly connects ok.
