Thanks for the instructions above -- it does work. But for me the new font makes the menus look weird, and does not have a complete set of simplified characters, which means leaves lots of gaps all around. It's a bit crappy. And having to SSH in to my radio to kludge it is not what I call user-friendly.
This is something I really think that Logitech should work on: my little $30 Sansa Disk MP3 player displays a full set of Chinese characters just fine, but not my $200 SB Radio with its fancy screen? Not cool.
