I have the same problem on my Touch, in addition I lose the Favorite
menu on the Home screen and all my presets. It has happened twice. I
run 7.6.1 r9486, this never happened before that upgrade.

Open Web Control for the Squeezebox Server, go to Settings/Player/Audio
and choose the Power On Resume option you prefer.

reasonable, e. g. I can start
the Radio late at night to set the alarm without waking my wife up.
But why not just press the appropriate preset button? This starts
playing the installed station for me, and I don't have to press the
Power On button either.

probably should survive pressing two buttons instead
of one, cause you do need to press play after the power button to
resume playing if you insist on putting the Radio to a hard off mode
every time you turn it off. Sometimes we need to get the proper
perspective, or?
