Yes. All four Radios are running 7.7.3-r16676. I even tried
re-installing the firmware on the new Radio to see if it would fix the
problem. No dice.

1. Yes, it's always worked that way (for the last 4 years). I used it
quite a lot in the past.
2. LMS a should DEFINITELY be given the MySB credentials, everything
else can cause trouble

Not for a Radio, that's only true for ip3k players. Radios should
re-register on factory reset so that should be OK

Yes unless you can email the previus owner . Have the mac adress ready ,
can be found on the sticker on the squeezebox or seen in the information
page in web UI > settings .
