Robin: The SB Radio will continue to work albeit with the Beta Warning and some functions will not work. Like no battery use. At some point it will not longer work properly just like the PB1 Touch units that had to go back. Check into the Beta Forum where Mickey has all the instructions there.

I don't recall the intention at the time, but... Did Logitech ever promise that all beta testers would get free batteries? Or just that they would get battery-capable Radios in exchange for their beta Radios? I'm not really sure... -- Mark Miksis

AFAIK, the only functionality difference in Beta radio's vs production/retail Radio's is the battery will not work on a beta unit. Been using my beta Radio daily since entering the beta program and I've yet to find a function it cannot perform. Beta units are hardware version 1, production/retail
