OK... I read through some of the postings here and it seems that *by design* the alarm will use the internal speaker for output, I guess people using headphones at night want to make sure they wake up in the morning. But I don't use headphones, I use powered speakers, and I really like my music

Another solution would be to buy a Boom (it has stereo) or use an SB3, Receiver, or Touch with the powered speakers. Also I am not saying it can't be done using SSH, somebody on the Forum can probably make that happen if its possible. PS Most of us on the Forum have two ears also. -- iPhone

I don't want to buy yet another device, I love the format of the radio to have at my bedside, I like the snooze button, the well thought out interface, etc. It really is close to the perfect device I want, except for the speaker, which I really don't like how it sounds (I hope I've made that
