My problem was fully resolved by using a lower bandwidth stream - still
working fine.
France Info appears to have a (very) low bandwith option - see here:

I've the same problem only with one station: France Info. It's happen
since 3-4 days, before all was ok. I've a Sqeezebox Boom directly
connected with my wifi routeur. I can hear all others stations
normally, not France Info. Any ideas?

Hello
I am experiencing an intermittent problem where one, and only one,
particular radio station constantly rebuffers (ie every few seconds)
making it impossible to listen to.
That one station is SR1 (Sveriges Radio 1 - the Swedish public
broadcaster)

If your internet stream is lumpy/bursty (possibly due to traffic mgmt by
ISP) you could also try increasing the radio station buffer in WebUI
Settings/Advanced/Radio Station buffer seconds
