Hi, I'm written a patch for better brightness control. In can dim the screen when the screen saver is active, and under automatic it supports a brightness range (minimum and maximum brightness) depending on the state (playing/stopped). This patch works on the Touch. I can test it there because I own one. Some user here requested this for the Radio too. A previous version of the patch worked on the Radio, but now there is a better version, and I get reports that it is no longer working. I like to satisfy the Radio users who want this patch, but not owning the device makes developing a bit problematic. I'm quite confident that the code is 99% complete, there is probably some syntax error somewhere.
Is there a Radio owner here who would be willing to assist? The task would be to install the patch, debug it, and submit the correct code so everyone can enjoy it.
