This is on Linux based SBS and Classic3 players
Apologies if this is already known, but having moved from 7.3.4 to 7.5.4
recently I came across a problem where I would not set the preset
buttons.
in 7.3.4 there was a hotkey= in the favorites that seemed to work and
was editable via UI

Yes. I'm sorry I wasn't clear. What I was trying to say is that
_as_far_as_the_pre-sets_are_concerned_, from a distance, you can switch
the radio on, adjust the volulme, and play the current station the radio
is tuned to (missed that last bit :) ).

Absolutely true that Favorites are no good if you're too far away to
read the Radio's scre

By programming the remote as described in my original post, you can then
select and play one of the pre-set stations.
I'm quite happy with the favorite list instead of presets .

Welcome to the forums, and don't take it personally. 53 views is pretty
good for only 2-3 hours since your first post, but just may not have

I have seen reviews complaining that the small Squeezebox remote that
comes with the battery, cannot be used to select your preset stations.
I called Logitech and was told that this was not possible.
