I don't think this will happen to everyone that gets a white radio or
any radio .
I factory reset mine and the only thing is this menu item that you
should not use .

It's the file 'servers.prefs'. It's kept in the installation directory
of Logitech Media Server. If you're not familiar with that, just search

Hi.
Today, when I saw that the Squeezebox Radio was on sale for $99.00, I
couldn't resist and ordered one.
I already own two SB3s, which function just great.
I read this thread today, and I'm wondering if one of you can give me
advice on how to do the initial set-up on my soon-to-be delivered
Just to add to what Mnyb is seeing:
Yesterday connected to LMS on the Radio I went to Settings > Audio
Settings > Fixed Volume, right arrow here connected me to
mysqueezebox.com without a prompt to do so, I selected "Fixed Volume"
Reconnected back to LMS, and the "Fixed Volume" item has disappear

Now back on track after a factory reset.

, I checked on my account and ofcourse it was registred ,nothing but a
full factory reset fixes this .

He he mysqueezebox.com !
I'll be back in the afternoon ( must work ) my Radio has unregistered
itself :) so it says but it can find and ping mysqueezebox.com and it
is there when I go to the website.
And I can use the apps from it's panel but the switch to

Aha mysqueezebox.com that explains a lot .
The actual menu content are in many cases produced by the server LMS or
mysqueezebox.com .
And there is a settings synchronisation going on between LMS and
mysqueezebox.com if you have that enabled .
They never got that quite rigth , you can for example

Oops - was the settings for Touch. You're correct - nothing for the
radio.
Stumped.

I,would still be curious about the server.prefs file even if I,can't
replicate the problem would be interesting to compare with my radio .
You migth want to erase some of the stuff considering the server if you
attach it here , I think, the server.prefs may contain mysqueezebox com
logins etc .

Are you sure?
I see this for the Touch, but not for the Radio?
It wouldn't make any sense to change the option to "Output Level Is
Fixed at 100%" on the Radio.

Thanks for that! I'll check it when I get home; I can't remember having

Using 7.7.2 on Pi - that's the default install. Why complcate matters
with a later version? 7.7.2 works fine.

I set it up as I would any squeezebox device.
