That is by design - users have complained about accidentally switching
alarm off, so they decreased
You can turn it off with the "off" button. I find the decreased
sensitivity of the knob far more user-friendly than before, because I
don't have to worry about accidentally disabling the alarm.

Since just about forever I have had a small problem with the alarm
functionality on the Radio.
It is not a big problem. Actually the alarm as such has always worked
for me.
But when I choose snooze (usually I push the volume button, but using
the menu makes no diference), it takes around 5 secon
