Alarms are MUCH more stable now. See this thread for details (if you care) and use the AlarmSnoozeApplet.lua applet attached in post #54 if you are interested in testing: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72871&page=6 Regards, Marc -- Marc -

Mine works almost all of the time. It's the "almost" part that drives me crazy. That, coupled with no battery backup for the alarm in case of power failures, makes it unreliable. If I need to be sure to wake up on time, I use my cheap alarm clock that I keep next to the SB radio. Very sad, a

Really hard to believe that everything works so great for you when people all over Europe complain about MYSB not working at all during large parts of the day lately. Then again: it's fine for you if -you- have no problems, but it doesn't make the design flaws and server issues any better. -- 0

I've had my SB Radio for a few days now and am still not entirely happy with the Alarm clock behaviour. In truth, this mostly relates to the switching between my local SBServer and mySqueezebox.com. I find this whole concept pretty un-intuitive. I think the main problem I have is that the radio do

I initially had problems with the alarm reliability. I was using one of the sound effects (which actually require access to mysqueezebox.com), and the alarm would fail to sound 1-2x per week (out of 5). I run SBS on a local server 24/7, and never directly connect to mysqueezebox.com. When the a

I use mine daily as an alarm clock. It's only failed once, when my wireless router died. I don't think it will ever be as reliable as a dedicated battery alarm clock, however...it's just too complex. I like the alarm function, I only wish I could figure out how to get it to display current time w
