Not seen the Dash before- reading about it looks appealing at the
price. BUT I can't help wondering it'll be somewhere down the middle -
not the full internet experince you'd get on a PC, and without the
brilliant and easy to use music playout/database system the the
Squeezebox range has.

It depends on what you want, especially because the Dash has very little
in common with the Touch. Functionally speaking the Sony Dash is a lot
more like the SB Radio (built-in speakers, headphone jack but no
line-level audio outputs) than it does the SB Touch (no speakers, high
